Notes: Aug 1953.

Condition: FN- (5.5). Light overall cover wear, a few minor spine creases, tiny chips to the top & bottom spine corners, the back cover is a little dirty, pencil initials to the inside first page, and a date stamp to the front cover. Slight raggedness to the bottom edge from blunt production cut.

Notes: Dec 1953.

Condition: G/VG (3.0). Creasing along the spine, two 1" tears to the back cover & 1/2" tear to the bottom of the spine, small staple tears, very minor stain & a stamp to the front cover, and the back cover is rather dirty. Also a pair of horizontal non-colour-breaking production creases to both covers.

Notes: Apr 1954.

Condition: G (2.0). 1.5" bottom spine-split & 3/4" top spine-split, lot of spine & cover edge creases, some scuff marks to the front cover, and the back cover is rather dirty with a scuff by the spine. Also some red ink 'bleedthrough' to the inside covers.

Condition: VG (4.0). Some moderate wear & small creases to the spine & cover edges, lots of small corner creases, slight amount of rust to the bottom staple, and the back cover has some small tears to the edges, a few large bends & couple of small stains.

Condition: VG/FN (5.0). Lots of small spine creases, a few light scratches to the front cover, and slight soiling to the back cover with a very small tear to the bottom edge.

Condition: VG (4.0). Some heavy creases to the top of the spine & bottom-right cover of the front cover (both of which also affect the inside pages to a lesser extent), a few smaller spine creases, and a light stain to the lelft edge back cover which is a little dirty.

Condition: G/VG (3.0). A tear/small piece out at both the top & bottom of the spine, moderate spine-roll, some general wear to the cover, and a pencil date to the front cover.

Notes: Jan 1961. 'Ghost Ace' story (Enemy Ace).

Condition: G/VG (3.0). Heavy creasing to the spine, 1" bottom spine split, large corner creases to the front & back covers, a pair of very small edge tears to the back cover, and a tear by the bottom stape at the centrefold (still attached).

Condition: G/VG (3.0). Large vertical bend to comic as a whole which presents as a crease to the back cover, a much lighter crease to the front cover, and as a light bend to the inside pages. Also a horizontal bend to the back cover, a few spine creases, small creases to the bottom-right corner, and a small tear/chip out of the bottom edge of the front cover.

Condition: VG- (3.5). Lots of small pieces out of the cover edges & bottom-right corner of most pages (probably all bug chews), light cover wear, a patial bottom-right corner crease to the front cover, and a light stain to the back cover.

Condition: VG- (3.5). Moderate cover wear, slight spine-roll, a small tear to the bottom of the spine, several small nicks & creases to the cover edges, both covers are rather dirty, and a large felt-tip date to the inside first page.

Condition: G/VG (3.0). Heavy wear to the spine with a 1/2" split near the top, a light stain & biro writing to the front cover, the back cover is quite dirty with some edge chipping, a biro number to the inside first page, and heavy foxing to both covers on and around the spine area.

Condition: G+ (2.5). The cover & first four inside wraps are detached at the top staple, several spine stress lines, the back cover is rather dirty with a large but light stain, and large creases to one of the inside pages.

Condition: VG (4.0). Several spine creases, some small stains to the front cover, biro date to the front cover, heavy foxing to the back cover & both inside cover edges, and a biro number to the inside first page.
